Teen Volunteers Raise $20K In Memory Of Harford County Student

BEL AIR, Md. — Youth volunteers successful Harford County raised $20,000 past period successful grant of a 16-year-old pupil who passed distant earlier this year.

VolunTeen, a Bel Air-based unpaid enactment for Harford County teens, wanted to find a mode to retrieve the bequest of Bailey Bullock, a student-athlete astatine The John Carroll School who died May 12.

So the radical organized Bailey’s Heart & Sole 5K Charity Run, which was held Sept. 19 astatine the Ma & Pa Heritage Trail.

Hundreds of radical — including athletes from The John Carroll School, C. Milton Wright High School and Harford Community College — turned retired to enactment the effort.

All told, the 5K raised $20,000 for the American Heart Association and the Bailey’s Heart and Soul Foundation, which was formed successful the aftermath of Bullock’s death.
